"-at" Word Family Tic Tac Toe

Download
blank "Tic Tac Toe" board [GIF: 8K] Choose a word family that
has at least 9 words that have the same spelling base like: -an, -ot, -all, -ill, -et,
-en, -ide, etc... Each player chooses a different color of crayon, marker or colored
pencil. Write one word from the word
family (bat, rat, that, cat, sat, splat, etc.) in a
space. Player two writes another
-at word in a space. You may not use the same word twice. The winner
has three words in a row. |

Variation One:

-at words before
you start and read the list as you play. |
Variation Two:
As a player thinks of a word to put on the board, they must
spell it correctly on the list to take a turn. Fill in the list as you play the
game.
