Fifth Grade: Economics

Fifth graders learn about the principles of economics. They are exposed to the ups and downs of the stock market and what it means to make a profitable investment. Guest speakers are invited in to share different forms of investing.

Mrs. Caliva and Mrs. Tamazian Mrs. Tamazian shares her knowledge of investing and planning for the future.

Students take notes to refer to later. Reading for background knowledge is helpful.
