Music Spotlight on 5th Grade Students

Did you know that basketballs have a rhythm? Mrs. McCoy directs over 100 5th graders to the beat of STOMP.

Drums, water bottles, trash cans, and almost anything else that could make a rhythm sound was used. Did you know that cups can be moved in rhythm?

Finale Notepad is a computer program that our 5th graders use to compose and play original music. They create their musical pieces on the computer and submit a finished composition.
