Animation with Art Dabbler 2.1
Fifth graders use the Dabbler tutorial to design their own cartoon
character. They choose from cute, wiseguy, goofy and bully. Each personality
has specific characteristics. For instance, if you wish to portray a cartoon with a
cute personality, the cartoon must have large low set eyes, no neck etc. A cartoon with a
goofy personality must have a long neck and head held forward. Students take these
characteristics and incorporate them into their own cartoon. Students then use
dabbler to show movement. Student must move at least three parts of cartoon to make
believable.
