Science: Visit the Zoo

4th graders work on designing the ideal zoo. They carefully consider the natural habitats of each of the animals. As a part of  the unit, they take a field trip to the Brookfield Zoo and observe the animals and study them in action. A great day for all.

This is the best field trip of all! The bus ride is a long one so students play mind reading games.
Parent volunteers have almost as much fun as the students. What would it be like to wear a shirt made for a gorilla?
