Science: Owl Pellets

Have you ever dissected an owl pellet? Clow 4th graders have. They found some very interesting things inside from pebbles to little bones.

As a follow-up to the Owl Unit, the PTA sponsored a project for students to learn more about the Willowbrook Wildlife Center in Glen Ellyn, IL. Students learned all about the birds of prey that were rescued and helped at the center. Here are a few that were brought to Clow.
