Fourth Grade

Naper Settlement

In the fall it is traditional for our fourth graders to go on a field trip to Naper Settlement in Naperville.
The mansion at Naper Settlement shows students how families lived in the early 19th century.
School houses in the 1800s were nothing like the schools of today!  Fourth graders explored all Naper Settlement.

Students learned that the blacksmith was an important job in a village. Tombstones tell their own story of the past.
