Pumpkin Math

In October, Clow third gradePumpkin Math students bring pumpkins to school and learn to measure.  They study height, weight, circumference, & estimating.  They compare their pumpkin to a "benchmark" or sample pumpkin.  Finally, students are able to dig in and gut the pumpkins so that they can count the quantity of seeds.
