Expository: Animal Research Paper
Third graders are very interested in
the animal world. They select a favorite animal and then learn all about
it. The places they go to look for information that answers all of their
questions are found in the LMC. They start with books using the patron
catalog, examine websites using our
Third Grade Schoolbag
page and the
Research page, and then compare information in encyclopedias. After
they have experienced each of the resources they develop a research plan
and then off they go.
