The Pesky Crow By: Casey

Once there was a wolf who lived in a deep, dark cave surrounded by a gloomy woods. On a farm there was a scarecrow. The scarecrow had to guard a cornfield and on that field, there was a crow.

One day the crow said, "My am I hungry!" He said, "I’ll go get some of that corn, which that stupid scarecrow watches over." Then the crow flew off to the cornfield.

When the crow got there, he saw the scarecrow. "Hello scarecrow," said the crow. "Hello crow," the scarecrow replied. "What are you here for?" the scarecrow asked. "To eat all of the corn," the crow laughed. "Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! you can’t do that," scarecrow said. "Try to stop me," crow said. At that, wolf leaped out from the woods with his jaws open. He lunged for crow snarling and growling. "Ack!" screamed crow. Just the sight of wolf made him fly so high, that soon he was in space. He flew past Venus and Mars, and then landed on the sun. He sizzled up like a sausage. He was never seen again.
