First graders learn all about the different kinds of rocks in science. They even learn to "rock and roll!"

When it is the time of year for first graders to learn about volcanoes, they make their own. Look at how they progress from start to finish.

In the spring, first graders lean all about the weather and they even write and illustrate a weather narrative story. First students illustrate what happens in the beginning, then the middle and finally in the end. After their story is all drawn out, students write it with the events occurring according to their story board.
