First graders attend "Meet &
Reads" where they get to meet staff members and read a great
book at the same time. Here they are meeting Mrs. Carstens in
the LMC.
In the spring, first graders
lean all about the weather
and they even write and illustrate a weather narrative story. First
students illustrate what happens in the beginning, then the middle
and finally in the end. After their story is all drawn out, students
write it with the events occurring according to their story board.
