Technology & Learning Portraits of Learning Contest

Have you seen the bylines ofMrs. Frett and a group of Webographers. Webographers with the majority of the photos on our website? "What is a Webographer?" you ask... Clow School has over 100 of them. They are first, second, third, fourth, and fifth graders who volunteer to be photojournalists and document Clow kids learning for all the world to see.

Ejecting a disk.It was very easy learning how to insert the floppy disk into the camera. Ejecting it was a little trickier but Clow students are fast learners. Students get their camera, sign it out, pick up their floppy disk and are ready to go.

Sometimes when the camera has been used a lot, a Webographer might have to change the battery. Each student knows how to charge the old battery so that the next person can be ready to go too. Signing out a camera.

Next they learn how to take their disk to a computer, preview it, and name the best of their photo files. This is a very important step. Following directions to name photos can be a challenge.

Once their photos are ready, Webographers give their disk in its  envelope to Mrs. Frett who puts the photos on our website. Part of the editing process is for Webographers to name their photos.
