What do you do when storytellers
move on to middle school and still want to tell stories? We made
arrangements for our middle schoolers to come back to Clow one
afternoon a week. Out of sixteen sixth graders, twelve insisted
on continuing with storytelling. How could we refuse? These are
our experienced tellers and they know just what to do: Read lots
of stories, select the perfect one, make it your own, learn it
well, and practice and practice some more.
Ryland was telling Mirabella the Clever
and wondered how the music in the story sounded. Sophie jumped
in with her musical talent to help him out.
