August 18th, 2004
1st Lieutenant Bob Scavelli and his family made a special stop on their
way home to Fort Polk, LA to visit the students and staff of Clow
School. School hadn't even started yet but students arrived with their
red, white, and blue enthusiasm. Everyone was very excited to finally
meet the soldier that we came to know as our friend.

He gave each of the students an American flag, a smile, and
answers to their questions. |

Before everyone went home, the Lieutenant answered more
questions from the group. |
|
Miss Kaufman gave him a special Clow "Hero" medal to wear. She
also gave one to each member of his family. |
