Sea Creature Paper Guidelines

Part of your Sea Creature assignment is to write an expository paper about your creature. There are certain guidelines that you must follow to write an accurate description of your creature. The guidelines you must follow are:

 

You must use the Sea Creature Outline form before you write the paper. The outline will help you organize your ideas.
Your paper must be five paragraphs. The paragraphs are:
1st: Introduction (lead and topic sentences)
2nd: Physical features (what it looks like)
3rd: Habitat (where it lives and what this looks like)
4th: Diet (what it eats and how it gets it)
5th: Conclusion (restate topic and lead and add any other interesting information)
Paragraphs 2 and 3 need topic sentences, 3 details with elaboration, and transitions to the next paragraph.
Paragraph 4 needs a topic sentence, 3 details with elaboration, and a conclusion sentence.
The final paper must be typed or in cursive pen (blue or black).
