Fifth GradeHistorical American Research ProjectIn December, 5th Graders pick and read a biography about a Historical American. Students read this book in school, take notes, and do various activities and assignments to learn about the historical figure. To see an explanation of their reading project, be sure to view the bottom of the 5th Grade Reading page. In January, students then take their reading notes, further research their Historical Americans, and write an outline and research paper about their figure.
