How to Study for a 4th Grade Social Studies Chapter Test

Pay attention in class! (It will save you time later!)
Take good notes during instruction and review! Study nightly! (Don't wait until the last minute to start studying.)
Read and reread the text book carefully. Look for main ideas as you read.
Learn the meaning or importance of each blue word in the chapter.
Be able to answer the questions at the end of each lesson. Similar questions are often on your test!
Review using the Chapter Review at the end of each chapter. This helps you practice some of the blue words, and similar questions are often on your test!
Take notes during the class review. Your teacher will review important information from the test. (Take notes even if the review is a game!) Study these notes!
