Build a model of an important building with a written explanation of interesting facts about it.

Construct a diorama of any event in the state's history with a written explanation.

Make a salt and flour landform map with a written explanation about the geography of the state.

Set up a model of an early settlement with a written explanation of its significance.

Design a game to teach others about the state.   Use tagboard, real game pieces from a game at home, facts that are important from your state, a simple layout for a game that can easily be played during the State Fair.   Use markers and a ruler to make your game look neat.

Create a 3 sided display from a large box, add hinges, etc. to make it look neat.  Create a collage of pictures from your state information you sent away for.  Organize your pictures by category, i.e. tourism, climate, landforms, history, state facts, resources, etc.  Be clever!  Have a pointer of some sort to inform the rest of the school and parents about your state during the Fair.

Plan a project of your choice in detail.  Have your teacher approve it.
