Second Grade

Children are taught the following expectations and rubric for their autobiographies.

1.  Topic Sentence:   I introduce myself.
2.  First Detail:  I have a fact about myself.
3.  Second Detail:  I have a fact about my family.
4.  Third Detail:  I have a fact about my favorite activity.
5.  Conclusion:  I have a sentence that describes me.

For each of the above they are to check:
   I have complete sentences
   I capitalize all names
   I capitalized the first word of each sentence
   I have ending punctuation
   My words are spelled correctly
