Second GradeSocial StudiesSecond Graders Build a CommunityClow 2nd graders study communities in the fall. We learn how to use map grids and keys. Boys and girls look up places in Naperville in the telephone book and write about them. We build a community for our classrooms. We plan in a group, cooperate, and apply what we have learned. The Social Studies Curriculum is based on the students responding to Essential Questions. In this unit, students answered these Essential Questions:
