Health ServicesMrs. Monkman assists students in the health office.

Robert Clow Elementary School has a full-time health assistant, two registered nurses and a certified school nurse, who are all assigned part time. We will:

Ensure that all children are protected and in compliance with
Illinois state mandated school physical examinations and all
required immunizations.
Attend to all school injuries and illnesses giving medical care
within the scope of Illinois School Board Regulations and District
#204 Policies.
Provide administration of medications and medical procedures
required for the student to attend school.
Encourage basic health standards, healthy eating, and daily exercise.

We ask that parents keep sick children at home. The child must be fever free for 24 hours prior to readmission to class.

All communicable diseases will be treated in accordance with the Illinois Department of Public Health and District #204 Board Policy #500.84.
